Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.5 SP2

ADO (ActiveX Data Objects) is a Microsoft technology for database access.  Microsoft Access 2000 includes an older version of ADO (2.1).

Pendragon Forms 5.0 for Access 2000, 2002, XP, and 2003 require ADO 2.5.  Pendragon Forms 3.2, and 4.0 for Access 2000/2002 also require ADO 2.5. 

ADO 2.5 is included in several products including Windows 2000, Access 2002 and higher and Windows XP. 

We recommend you download Pendragon Forms (upgrade or evaluation) first.  The installer will inform you if you need to install MDAC 2.5.

After downloading and installing MDAC 2.5 SP3, you will probably prompted to restart your machine.  After restarting, download and install Jet 4.0 Service Pack 7.

If you do not have ADO 2.5 installed, you may receive one of the following HotSync error messages:
