There is little difference adding information to Slider, Sketch and Signature fields on Palm OS and Pocket PC devices.  

However, there are restrictions on sharing signatures and sketch fields across platforms. You should avoid sharing data in these fields across platforms because the Image and Sketch field dimensions are different.

You can display an image or signature created on Palm OS on a PocketPC device, but not vice versa.
