Creating and
editing records on your handheld is very similar whether you are using a
Palm OS handheld or Pocket PC.
Moving from
screen to screen:
Palm OS devices
have Previous and Next buttons to move from screen to screen, and an End
button to exit the form.
On Pocket PCs,
the < > buttons at the bottom of each screen move backward and
forward. The √ button ends the
record.
When editing and viewing Pendragon Forms records, the
(OK) button acts like the End Record button.
On screens such as the Sketch and Image viewers, the
(OK) button will simply close that screen and return to the record.
Pocket PC
text entry area:
The lower section of each screen is used to display the
data entry area. Pendragon Forms uses the keyboard by default.
Tapping the arrow next to the keyboard allows you to
select another type of data entry. Pendragon Forms 5 supports all of the
Pocket PC data entry methods, including the Keyboard, Block Recognizer,
Letter Recognizer and Transcriber.
Tapping the keyboard icon will remove the keyboard from
the screen.
