How Distribution Toolbox Works

 

 

1.

In the Pendragon Forms Manager, place all of your forms designs into one category.

 

2.

Use the Database Export Tool to create an MDB file that contains just the tables needed for configuration and synchronization (Note: This database does not contain any screens for reviewing or editing data.)

 

 

 

3.

Use the Customizer to create custom branded version of the Forms 5.0 runtime.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.

The Customizer will generate the following components:

  • A registry file containing required settings.

  • A custom PRC file for Palm Powered devices.

  • A customized CAB file for Pocket PCs.

  • Wise Installation System scripts.

  • A sample end-user license agreement.

  • Tools for licensing the generated application.

 
5. Use Microsoft Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, Dephi or another database programming tool to create your own desktop user interface for your application.
6. You can create a complete installation program for your application. You can also build your own installer using third-party installation tools.
