Format fonts with a few clicks using the new Form Designer. Select bold and large front settings from drop-down lists. Choose a question font color from the 48-color palette or select a custom RGB color.

Screen Captions

Provide users with additional information via the top screen caption. A Start Next Screen option makes it easy to specify the first field for each screen and add a character caption.

Shared Keypad

Quickly enter numeric data for any Text, Numeric or Currency field on a screen using a single keypad.

Modifying Layout Properties in Frozen Forms

Many layout properties can be modified even after a form has been frozen. Question and answer sizes, font formatting, Start next screen and captions can all be changed after a form has been frozen. To complete the changes, just re-distribute the form and synchronize the handhelds.

Decorative Graphics

Enhance the user interface by adding a decorative (static) picture to any question. Use any .BMP or .JPG file up to 320x192 pixels in size (160x96 for standard resolution devices).

Static images in Section fields can also be used create customized buttons within a form or a Custom Main Menu to replace the standard Pendragon Forms main menu.

Because static images are built-in to the form design, they do not require an external media cards and they cannot be modified by the handheld user.

The new Form Designer makes it easy to import graphics and select the optimal field size for your form layout.

Palm OS Requirements

Handheld devices with Palm OS 3.5 or higher are required to use some features in Pendragon Forms 4.0 and 5.0 including layout and graphic options. If you are currently using an earlier version of Pendragon Forms with devices running Palm OS 3.0, we do not recommend upgrading.
