Conveniently add GPS coordinates to your forms using an external GPS receiver with the GPS Custom Control. The GPS Custom Control is separate handheld program included with the software that communicates with GPS devices.

Pendragon Forms supports data capture directly from GPS receivers that work with Palm OS or Pocket PC devices. The controls can be used devices with built-in GPS capability such as the Garmin iQue or external receivers.

The control automatically captures latitude, longitude, date and time measurements. Additional data including speed in knots, course, magnetic variance, horizontal dilution, altitude, and height of geoid can be acquired using a script.

The GPS Custom Control works with NMEA-0183-compliant GPS receivers that connect via the Palm serial port or Bluetooth RFCOMM. This includes receivers that connect to the handheld via Bluetooth, via serial cable, and sled-style receivers.

The GPS Custom Control for Palm OS is included with Pendragon Forms.
