Custom Control Field Type & Data Storage

Custom controls are accessible via a Custom Control field. Custom Controls have a customized appearance, and may contain their own device controls (such as buttons and text fields). The external program then stores its data in the Custom Control field like a Text field.

Custom Controls are separate .PRC files installed on the handheld and can be used by more than one form design.

Custom Control Development Kit

The Pendragon Forms Control Developer Kit is available for developers to create their own Custom Controls for Palm OS handhelds using the C programming language.
