Handheld Devices & Smartphones

Field workers can collect or view data on Palm OS devices and Pocket PCs, even when disconnected from the network. 

The Pendragon Forms Enterprise Edition handheld program has hundreds of features including 23 field types, intelligent navigation, signature capture, barcode scanning and scripting. 

PDA users can synchronize via desktops or laptop PC's that are connected to network, or synchronize via wireless modems.  This includes local area wireless connections (802.11b) or wide-area connection such as CDPD modems and cellular phones.

Handheld Requirements:

Palm OS handheld devices with Palm OS version 4.0 or higher and at least 8MB RAM, or

Windows Mobile 2003 or higher and at least 64MB RAM.  See the Hardware page for complete details on mobile hardware compatibility.

Networked PCs 

Each can also be used in a web-browser.  PC users can add, edit or view form records on their desktops.  The database is updated as changes are made, so users see the most current information.

Filter and export data to the desktop to create reports.

Pendragon Forms Enterprise Edition can even be used to create Web-enabled data collection applications for audiences that do not use handheld computers.

Client PC Requirements:

128 MB RAM, approximately 25MB free disk space.

Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, XP, Vista or NT 4.0 (with Service Pack 3 or higher)

Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher recommended

TCP/IP networking.

Centralized Management

Pendragon Forms Enterprise Edition gives managers centralized control over forms and users.  The Web-based interface requires just a few mouse clicks for:

• Distribution of new and updated form designs

• Removal of old or obsolete designs

• Enabling and disabling user accounts

• Controlling what data can be seen by users via the Web and handheld interfaces

• Delegating management and design tasks to other users or administrators

• Supporting multiple independent workgroups

Create:

Build customized forms to automate data collection tasks throughout the organization.  Basic forms can be created without programming, and scripting can be used to enhance form navigation.

Deploy:

Distribute the forms to Web-enabled PC's with a few mouse clicks.  PC's are automatically updated with the new information.

Administer:

User and forms administration tasks can also be performed on the PC via the Web-based interface.  Easily add users, modify user profiles, distribute new forms or revoke out of date forms.  Control access to data and administrative functions using flexible user and group privileges.
